Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Portland is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Portland is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I love going here, by far the best boba place i have been to. They have multiple different syrups, sinkers, and tea flavours! I highly recommend the Winter Melon green or black tea with the classic brown sugar boba, and also suggest trying out the Nutella taiyaki!!

Finally decided to check this place out, it's clean and quiet. The had shelves with Asian snacks. We ended up getting their Taro Milk Tea and Vietnamese Coffee with two Taiyaki's one with Custard and the other with Nutella fillings. Of course we had to take some Meiji Pretzel snacks to go. Just a heads up if you get the Taiyaki, the filling will be pretty hot!

I'm a little late on the boba trend so I am glad I stopped in here! The aroma when I went in was divine, which I later learned was taiyaki being made. I'll try it next time for sure. Sierra was so helpful, letting me sample a few different types of boba. I ended up with the iced Vietnamese coffee with the yogurt popping boba. I absolutely loved it. I'd like to try everything on the menu. Sierra even helped by explaining how to use the straw through the plastic.
